Downtown Jacksonville. The Mainstreet Bridge and the Modis Building.
We all went down to the Riverwalk this evening. I took my sketchbook and Emory brought his camera. We walked down to the statue and the kids played around while Emory took pictures and I drew this picture. It is still outside my comfort zone for me to draw from reality and to draw outside in public, but I am glad I am pushing myself. It started out really bad and I almost gave up on it, but I kept working it and I think it turned out OK. It has a kind of cartoonish look to it. I like it.
