I was out of town last night sitting in my hotel room looking for something to draw. Then I remembered I had my Challenges list from the EDM forum and started with #1: Draw a Shoe. The book it is sitting on is Sarks Succulent Wild Woman, which I am reading now. After reading The Creative License I noticed there are quite a few other books written and illustrated by hand.. But for some reason they are all in the Self Help section at Barnes & Noble.. I would have never thought to look there......

Oh, I like your shoe, I'd wear it :)! Gosh, having those books in the self help section sounds a bit sad doesn't it!
Good for you! It looks like you are off to a great start and this is a wonderful shoe drawing! And I agree -- it's kind of weird that Danny's books are in the self help section of the book store -- what's up with that?

I think Danny's books have hepled me help myself in many ways, many times over, So I think it is an ideal place. ;0)
